Personal Information is any information that could be used to identify you. This includes your name, age, birthday, phone number, address, credit card number, or email address. It could also include information on how you use our Shop.
We need your consent before we collect any personal information. Your consent can be implied, or provided expressly (meaning: you take an active step to give us the information).
You must be an adult to provide consent, whether implied or express.
What if I’m not an adult?
If you are not an adult, we need your parent or guardian to provide consent before you access this Shop or buy any products. Sorry for this young friends – but we must reserve the right to refuse your access to our Shop if your folks aren’t on board (it’s the law).
Not sure if you are an adult? Talk to your parent or guardian about the ‘age of majority’ in your home province or territory. They’ll let you know.
Parents: If you believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If, at any point, we learn that a child under the age of 13 provided information, we will quickly delete such information in a secure manner.
Tell me about that implied an express thing again?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, you provide us implied consent to collect and use that information for that specific reason only. I mean…we can’t deliver you a t-shirt without using your mailing address – right?
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like email marketing, your consent will require an active step – like checking a box or typing your email address. Our lawyers call that an ‘opt-in’ or ‘express’ consent. So we do the same.
How do I withdraw my consent?
You can withdraw your consent at any point - just ask us to stop collecting, using or storing your personal information. We’ll take care of it from there. When you buy a product from our Shop, we collect the personal information necessary to make the sale. This includes your name, address, credit card, and email address.
When you browse our Shop, we automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address. Your IP address helps us learn about your browser and operating system. This lets us troubleshoot issues, prepopulate forms, and other technical services that improve our Shop’s services.
We also collect information that you provide to us directly. The best example of this is opting-in to our email newsletter. When you do this, we collect your personal information (e.g. your email address) to send you emails about our Shop, new products and other updates that we describe before you give us the OK.

If required by law, we may share your personal information with folks that are no third party service providers. The same applies if you violate our Terms of Service. So keep things on the up and up, ok?
Otherwise, we do not sell, rent or disclose your personal information to any third party without your consent.
Our Shop is hosted on Shopify Inc. They are great (and we hear they are country music fans). They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your Shop-related data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our Shop and its service providers.

Other third party service providers we use will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the way your personal information will be handled by these providers.
When you click on links on our Shop, they may direct you away from our Shop. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored on your computer, mobile phone, or other device. Cookies help us remember your information so we can provide our online services, monitor their delivery, and analyse their effectiveness. They help us provide a better experience and customize the Shop to your preferences.
